Solar Tan Thru Swimsuits!
Questions And Answers!
IS THE TAN THRU SUIT SEE THROUGH?
The Solar Tan Thru suit is guaranteed not to be see through when worn wet or dry. This remarkable feature is achieved with Solar's unique prints which create a high contrast of colours. Such contrast tricks the eyesight creating an optical inability for the human eye to see past any print when the suit is worn.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SUNBURN THROUGH THE SUIT?
It would take a rather prolonged exposure on a mid summer day to get a sunburn. The key to adding a little colour to your life is moderation. Overexposure to the sun will not help you achieve a tan any faster and of course is not recommended.
HOW DOES THE SUIT WORK?
Solar's unique fabric is made using a special knitting technology which creates thousands of tiny pores in the fabric. They act like a shade cloth filtering half of the sun's light, being comparable to a SPF between 5 and 8 depending on skin type.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO ACHIEVE AN ALL OVER TAN?
It will depend on your skins ability to produce melanin which is the pigment that darkens when human skin is exposed to sunlight. This is a gradual process. Gradual tanning also ensures a longer lasting tan. To get a seamless tan you should periodically move the straps and seams. The suit can also be worn in tanning salons.
WHAT MATERIAL IS THE SUIT MADE OF?
The fabric content consists of 32% Dorlastan and 68% Nylon woven in a porous honeycombe structure. The fabric is exclusive to Solar and is patented worldwide.
ARE THE SIZES TRUE TO FORM?
Yes, the suit is made of 4 way stretch Dorlastan which will fit you like a second skin. Always use your exact size. If you are an in between size we recommend that you try the smaller size first to make sure that the fabric pores are kept open.
WHAT OTHER ADVANTAGES DOES THE FABRIC OFFER?
Extremely fast drying.
Light non irritating material.
Allows skin to breathe.
Guaranteed not to run or sag even when damaged.
IS THE SUIT SUITABLE FOR WATER CONDITIONS?
Solar is very resistant to chlorinated water due to its high content of Dorlastan stretch fabric. It is ideally suited for water sports as it is a full function suit.
IS THE SUIT MADE IN SOLID COLOURS?
The optical inability that makes the fabric not to be see through when worn cannot be recreated with solid colours, therefore solid colours are only used on side panels.
