Tan Through Swimwear and Beachwear
Tan Through Information
About Our New Tan Through Swimwear
All Kiniki Tan Through garments are constructed from Transol, a new patent applied for fabric that allows between 70 and 80% of the suns ultra-violet rays to pass through it, allowing you to obtain that all over bronzed look and minimize tan lines.
Fabric composition is as follows: The original fabric, Amalfi, Santorini etc is made up of 93% polyester and 7% spandex.
The all new 5th generation fabric, is made up of 87% Nylon and 13% spandex.
How The Fabric Works
Your new Kiniki Tan Through swimwear is constructed from a unique fabric only available from Kiniki. It is manufactured using state of the art CAD technology creating millions of small square and diamond shaped apertures that allow up to 70% of the suns ultra-violet tanning rays to pass through, and because of an optical illusionary colouring process Transol fabric is not see through when worn next to the skin wet or dry.
What To Expect
It is important to remember that the suns rays can be very strong and will pass through your new Tan Through swim wear. We recommend always applying a sun protection lotion that you would normally use even under your Tan Through swimwear to prevent skin damage from over exposure to the sun.
Tanning Tips
To get the best out of your Tan Through swimwear and an all over line-free tan, slightly move seams and straps periodically. Tanning results will depend on your skin type and pigmentation however, tanning will be gradual as a lesser percentage of the suns ultra violet rays will pass through the garment than on fully exposed skin.
Millions of tiny, specially designed, apertures in the
Transol fabric allows the sun light to pass through
the material and onto your skin giving you that all
over tan.
Further Information
When wearing your Kiniki Tan Through swim suit, up to 80% of the suns Ultra Violet (UV) tanning rays will pass through the fabric. To ensure a healthier tan we recommend you apply a sun protection cream underneath your tan through swim suit - of the same (SPF) factor that you would normally use on your exposed skin. Remember - moderation is key to a safer sun tan
Anyone going out into the sun needs to follow sun-safety, regardless of what they are wearing. This means wearing a hat in direct sunlight; applying a high SPF factor (15+) with UVA filter and UVB filter protection every two hours, especially after swimming (regardless of whether the sun cream is water resistant); not staying in the sun for long periods of time; and avoiding sunbathing between midday and 4pm.
The wearer of any of our Tan Through swim suits should always ensure that they have applied sun cream all over before heading into the sun.
Kiniki can not be held responsible for skin damage due to over exposure of the sun.
